Premier Doug Ford visited RVH accompanied by the Hon. Christine Elliot, Deputy Premier and Minister of Health, the Hon. Doug Downey, Attorney General and MPP Barrie–Springwater–Oro-Medonte and Andrea Khanjin, MPP Barrie–Innisfil. The Premier announced a capital grant of $2.5 million to support RVH’s “one system; two site” development plan which includes redevelopment and expansion at the North Campus and the creation of a new South Campus hospital in Innisfil.
